Do you design websites?

Sure do. I design the websites, but at this stage I cannot develop, code or host your website. I have a developer that I can recommend, their prices start from around $300 for single page sites.

How do I book a project?

You can either contact me to discuss your project first, or go straight to filling out a Design Brief or Logo Brief depending on what services you’re looking for.

Do you require a deposit?

Yes, 100% of the design fee only. Any printing cost to be paid before final printing is approved.

Are your initial deposits refundable?

Please keep in mind that once the concept design stage has been completed, only 50% of the deposit fee will be refunded for change of mind. The nonrefundable deposit amount of the other 50% is to cover work already undertaken on the project.

How long will the design take?

It all depends on the type of project, most designs take anywhere from 2 to 4 weeks. However please allow approximately 4 weeks for Logo Design initial concepts, and then revision time.

What is involved in the design process?

The first step of the design process is filling out a design brief. Questions like, “Who is your target market audience” and “What best describes the style of design you are wanting”. I will send you a quote and request a 100% deposit to be paid before the initial concept designs are started. The concept designs will then be created, for most projects this includes two concept designs. They will be emailed in PDF format for review. You will be asked to choose a design, and make any revisions, e.g. minor tweaks and changes as expected. Once you are happy with the design you will be required to pay anything owing on the invoice, upon payment your digital design files will be released.

What if I don’t like the concepts?

Rammikin makes every effort to create a design that reflects the vision detailed in your brief. If you are not happy with the concepts provided, and the revisions do not fall within ‘minor’ changes to the project, you can pay for additional concepts to be created, or choose to not proceed and forfeit your deposit.

How many revisions can I make to the design?

Logo design packages include unlimited revisions, other design packages include 2 sets of revisions. Further revisions are charged at an hourly rate, and quoted before any work continues.

Will I own the copyright of my design?

Yes. Once you have paid in full, the design ownership transfers to you.

What files you provide the digital design files in?

I supply logo files to the Client in print and web formats, as EPS. PNG. JPEG. PSD. GIF and PDF.
If High-Resolution PDFs of artwork are requested after project completion, a small fee will be charged to cover times spent to retrieve files from archives. Any additional file format supply will also incur a fee charged at an hourly rate.

What are your billing and invoicing methods?

I accept Paypal payments or bank transfers. All banking details are shown on your invoice. Most project payments are due in two parts, the first payment is due upon booking.  The second payment is due at project completion, before any final logo/branding files are delivered.
